Phra Pratarnporn was made in year B.E.2506 at Wat Devasangharam (Kanchanaburi Province) Thailand. This statue was consecrated by His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara (19th Supreme Patriarch of Thailand )together with other high ranking monks including Luang Phor Pae. His Holiness was ordained as a novice at Wat Devasangharam Buddhist Monastery when he was 14 yrs old. The ceremony was initiated by the King of Thailand (Rama 9) at that time. Two of this 5 inch lap width statues were brought back by Luang Phor Pae to Singburi province after the ceremony. |
